The honey do list is one list that I have never finished or even made a good dent in, no matter how many tasks I complete the next time I look at this “list” it has grown and several more tasks have been added. I am not sure who invented the honey do list but he must of been a terrible manager of his tasks, like most men might I add. The main thing I see from what this man has done is add more work for the rest of us men who can handle a task and get things done in a timely manner. The “Honey-do list” is a way for our women to nag us with out actually nagging, is the only thing I can figure out. OH WELL back to my honey do list, I may finish the current list by Christmas if nothing gets added.

Gas war
You have got to love a price war when it includes gasoline, the price of gasoline in our neck of the woods has dropped to $3.19 as of today and I think I will take everything that needs gasoline and fill them all up today just to get a little relief from the pounding we have been taking at the gas pumps. We use a lot of gasoline every week in our delivery vehicles and any relief we can get is a plus in my book, I hope the price keeps going down and we get back to where the price of gasoline was a year ago.

Weather
We have had two solid weeks of hot and dry weather, it is starting to cook my grass and I really hate to water the lawn I have only watered it once this year. Last year we had the water going almost 24 hours a day during the drought. My worms need to be watered more than the grass and I have to water my tomato plants almost every other day they dry out fast in the pots like they are. What we need is a good solid day of rain a soft gentle rain would be nice. I guess I better go water my plants and worms and wait for the rain to water the lawn.

School starts
School starts next week and I can not wait, no more kids hanging around all day doing nothing and I will have my couch back to use as I see fit. Since I work nights the couch is where a lot of my day light hours are spent. The couch has been occupied with kids since the start of June and I am ready to reclaim my couch. I can start to work in my daily morning nap as well as my traditional afternoon nap which I have been missing for months now. Thank goodness for school.

Fancy dress
The city of Nashville has a fancy dress up ball each summer and we have attended every year since we moved here, and this year we are pulling out all the stops, my wife has selected a Fancy Dress for the ball and I am going black tie.
We have selected our costumes from Fancy-Dress.com they have an outstanding selection and the prices meet our budget, which is pretty tight right now with prices being so high for gas and other products. This is going to be the party of the year and I can not wait to get there.
